The Quilted Bear companies operate the largest handmade craft, gift and home decor stores in the country! Judy Dunford, founder, has been in the craft business for over 16 years; beginning first as an individual crafter, then becoming successful as a "temporary" show sponsor and finally opening her first permanent store in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1992. There are currently 3 stores located in Utah.
Believing that the customers' shopping experience must first be entertaining, our overall store design and individual store decorators strive to achieve a unique and unusual theme that makes shopping a fun experience! Our goal is to have each new customer exclaim, " WOW, this place is incredible!" . . .when first entering the store
Not only is our store décor, or "look" incredible, but we also have incredible crafters; many have even published their own craft designs through major crafting magazines. The combination of 300 to 400 artistic crafters, along with the store decorators, creates an overall impression that is always exciting!
Simply put, shopping in a Quilted Bear store is fun!--No wonder our average customer shops for over 2 hours. They just love it!
